It’s kinda easy to figure out exactly who this is. If you promised you wouldn’t tell anyone about what happened, how come you’re outing him on Medium now? You may believe that his friends won’t abandon him, is that your call to make? You may think Australia is the inclusive utopia where a media figure like him could come out and it’ll be all hunky dory? For the most parts yes, but there is a very real threat to him being cyber bullied and losing his listenership.

Like, I absolutely do not like the public facade of this person… actively don’t listen to his show etc. But it could be very harmful for a person who is not ready to come out if the closet to be dragged out like this.
