This reminds me of something I've personally called "time travelling": I like to go back into the past to a happy time and enjoy it again with myself, go back to a sad time and comfort myself; My favourites are to go to the future and imagine talking to myself in a quiet moment, ask her what she thinks of choices I'm about to make, and imagine the feeling we are sharing. I usually say goodbye at the end. Nice to hear other people do these things too!
